Tamsin Cracknell Head of Technical Media
From 2010-2013 I served as Assistant Editor of Brainstorm Magazine, a South African publication with a readership of 12 000, focused on corporate IT and telecoms and targeted at CIOs.
For the last 10 years, I have managed Clinical and Technical Media for an international medical device firm, drawing on my qualifications in mechanical engineering and epidemiology.
My expertise lies in translating complex technical concepts for audiences of all levels of expertise; however, research is also my hobby, and I have a talent for rapidly getting to grips with new topics and conveying that information in any style.
My principal areas of expertise include:
- medicine
- automotive and motorsport
- sports marketing
- digital marketing (I am a Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate).
I am a disciple of the Oxford Guide to Style, and still seething over the inclusion of the word “twerk” in the OED.
